What is a barrel pant?

A leg curved like a barrel: snug at the waist, wide through the thigh and knee, tapering at the ankle. People also call it barrel leg jeans, balloon jeans or horseshoe jeans. Same family, all baggy, all hanging loose like vines.

Why Bāgi?

Because Baggy is pronounced bāgi, and in Saudi Arabic bāgi (باقي) means 'here to stay'. Baggy is not a fad. It stays. Barrel is the cut. Vines is how it hangs.

Bāgi · Bāgi (باقي) is Arabic for "still here, here to stay". In the Saudi accent the letter ق is pronounced as a hard g, so باقي comes out baa-gi — exactly like the English word "baggy". That is the whole idea: baggy is here to stay.

What are barrel pants?

Pants with a leg curved like a barrel: comfortable at the waist, wide through the thigh and knee, narrowing at the ankle. The curve is what separates them from ordinary wide-leg pants.

Barrel vs balloon vs horseshoe jeans?

Same family. Barrel is widest at the top with a clear curve, balloon has a softer curve, and horseshoe is another name some brands use for the same cut.

Do they suit short and tall people?

Yes. The high waist lengthens the leg and the ankle taper keeps the shape neat. If you are shorter, a heel or a chunky sneaker helps.

How do I pick my size?

How do I wash them?
